In February 2020, JCB expanded its Teleskid series with the 2TS-7T, a compact telescopic arm skid loader engineered for confined-space operations. The third model in the lineup—following the 3TS-8T and 3TS-8W—rides on JCB's small-platform skid loader chassis, integrating telescopic functionality with job-site agility.

Operating Weight: 9,914 lbs (4,497 kg)
Max Rated Load: 950 kg (517 kg at full boom extension)
Engine: Kohler T4F 74hp (no SCR/DPF aftertreatment systems)
Hydraulic Flow: Standard 70.4 L/min; optional high-flow 113 L/min*
Lift Height: 3,607 mm
Forward Reach: 2,134 mm
Dig Depth: 610 mm
*Note: Optional high-flow configuration corrected to 113 L/min for technical accuracy
Telescopic Arm Performance
The 2TS-7T delivers a 20% higher breakout force than comparable models, enabling more efficient material handling. Its 3,607-mm lift height and 2,134-mm forward reach allow truck loading from tight angles, while the 610-mm dig depth supports light excavation tasks.
Operator-Centric Design
The cab offers 47% more interior space than industry peers, fitted with climate control (heating/cooling) as standard.
An optional convertible cab enhances versatility for different weather conditions.
The engine’s design eliminates SCR and DPF systems, reducing maintenance complexity and downtime.
Compact Footprint
Ideal for urban construction, landscaping, and indoor demolition, the loader’s all-rubber tires minimize ground damage in sensitive environments.
The 2TS-7T extends JCB's Teleskid series philosophy of "reach without compromise," combining skid loader maneuverability with telescopic boom capabilities. Unlike larger 3TS models, it targets users who need:
Precision in narrow work zones (e.g., between buildings or on rooftops)
Versatility for the rental market with quick attachment changes
Low-emission operation (T4F compliant without aftertreatment systems)
"By integrating telescopic technology into our compact platform, the 2TS-7T redefines what a skid loader can achieve in tight spaces," said a JCB product manager. The model joins JCB's expanding compact equipment portfolio, which includes three Teleskid models (7–8T class), Loadall telehandlers, and compact excavators.
With its balance of reach, power, and operator comfort, the 2TS-7T aims to set a new productivity standard for confined construction environments.
